The Gummy Bear and Me... small things can pack a big punch

Well, we have definitely had our fair share of surprises this summer... and to top that list of surprises, we are expecting a little addition to our little family. It is especially a little addition right now... it is about the size of and even strongly resembles a gummy bear(hence the picture above). We had our first doctor's appointment last week. I am due on March 22 and officially 10 weeks along. I am definitely feeling everyone of those 10 weeks right now. Luckily, my doctor gave me a prescription, that is supposed to help with the nausea and throwing up, and it usually does, if I make sure to get at least 10 hours of sleep a night.

But, on a happier note, at our appointment, we got the hear the little heart beat and even see the little gummy bear/parasite. We only call it a parasite because it just seems to suck everything out of me and make me really sick right now. Hopefully, it will soon just be known as the gummy bear, or some other random name that we come up with. =) Here is the picture from our first ultrasound.

Take care and make sure you get every minute of those ten hours of sleep! You deserve it!
